Farmgrass Camp & Jam FAQs:

Is there camping at Camp & Jam?

Of course! It's in the name! Primitive camping is available on Saturday night with purchase of any ticket. Tent camping is located on the campground, and campsites are first-come, first-serve. You can purchase an electric pass in addition to your tickets. Camping the Friday night before the festival is prohibited. Camping areas open to guests at 9am on Saturday 5/9. Campers must vacate campgrounds by 12pm on Sunday 5/10.

Can I park my car, camper, or RV on the campgrounds?
If you would like RV or car camping at the festival, you may purchase a RV/Car Camping pass for $30. Otherwise, campers must park in the parking lot and carry gear to the campground. We definitely recommend bringing a cart or wagon! The parking lot is about a quarter mile from the campground. RVs must arrive on or before noon. Shoot us an email if you have any questions about RV camping.

Are allowed fires on the campgrounds?
Fires must be contained and elevated off the ground. No ground fires are allowed. Grilling is allowed only on above-ground grills.

Is there a quiet camping area?
Overall, the campground will be family friendly and low-key. However, we will have a dedicated quiet camping area.

What's the weekend schedule look like?
Saturday 5/9: Festival grounds open at 9am. Live music will go from around 1:30pm-10:30pm, followed by camping and jamming in the campground. Click here for lineup. Live music schedule TBA.
Sunday 5/10: Campers must vacate campground by 12pm.

How can I help spread the word about Farmgrass Camp & Jam?
Visit our website for downloadable logos you can post on social media. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer at a farmers market or another event to help promote the festival.

Are there opportunities to volunteer for Farmgrass Camp & Jam?
Yes! We will need help on the day of the event as well as in the weeks leading up to it. Please contact us if interested.

Can I bring a chair/blanket to sit on?
Yes! If you want to sit and be comfy, we encourage you to bring your own folding chairs and blankets.

What kind of restroom facilities will be available?
There will be clean port-a-potties including at least 1 wheelchair accessible. There will not be showers or running water!

Where do I park and will it cost extra?
There will be ample parking on site, very close to the festival grounds and it's free!

What if I get hungry?
We will have wonderful food available for purchase from local food vendors on Saturday. You are also permitted to bring your own food and cook at your campsite.

Will the food vendors have vegetarian and gluten-free options?
Yes! But again, if you have special dietary needs, please pack your own meals or snacks.

Will there be running water?
Although we will have water available, there is no running water on the campgrounds. Please bring enough water for you and your group! We recommend at least 2-3 liters per adult per day (and 1-1.5 liters for children). Stay hydrated y'all!

Is there shade at the Homestead?
The campground is filled with live oak trees and shade galore! But we encourage you to wear sunscreen and hats and bring umbrellas or pop-up tents if you like. However, pop-up tents may only be set up in the camping area to avoid obstructing stage views.

Is Farmgrass Camp & Jam kid-friendly?
Yes! Kids 12 and under are free and there's lots of room to roam.

Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, but no. We ask you to keep your pets at home for insurance reasons.

Will there be Farmgrass merch for sale?
Yes! All proceeds from merch will go to support Farmgrass & Farmshare. You may also purchase a hat from our website here.

Can I pay for tickets, food and t-shirts with a credit card?
Yes, although data signals for card readers may be iffy on site. Please bring cash for all purchases for your own convenience.

Can we BYOB?
Yes, BYOB and coolers are allowed! Glass is ok too, although we recommend cans and reusable packaging such as growlers! Please drink responsibly and have a designated driver.

What about Covid-19?
In the event of postponement due to Covid-19, all tickets will remain valid for the new date or attendees may cancel their tickets for a full refund. Farmgrass is following the advice of the State of Texas and the CDC and will take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our attendees, bands and volunteers.
